Shalimar Bagh

Nishat Bagh

  1. It was built by Asaf Khan for Nur Jahan in 1633-34CE
  2. It has 12 terraces

  1. The Sun Temple is at Konark in Odisha.
  2. The Temple is built in the form of chariot of the Sun God.
  3. It is heavily decorated with stone carvings.
  4. The entire complex was designed in the form of huge chariot drawn by seven spirited horses on 12 pairs of exquisitely decorated wheels.
  5. All around the temple, there are various floral and geometric patterns.
