I live in a village. It is in Punjab. It is a new village on the bank of a river. Most of the houses there are made of brick and cement. There are also some mud houses. A few huts are also there.
Most of the villagers are farmers. Many of them have their own fields. There are many workers. They are poor but honest. They work hard.
The village roads are broad. The streets are clean. They are well paved. There is a Village Panchayat. It looks after the welfare of the village.
There is a high school. The teachers are good. They are well educated. I like my village.
