English Essay on Our School for Children and Students

A school is a place of learning for a child. It is where he learns how to behave in society and how to be a better student.

I study in St. Mary’s Convent, Hyderabad. It is a very big school with a red brick building. It has huge lawns outside and big playgrounds for the students. The lawns are lined with beautiful flower beds and trees.

Our school has about 45 classrooms and a staff of 80 teachers, including the P.T., Music and Art teachers. There are nearly two thousand students studying in St.Mary’s Convent. We have three well equipped laboratories and a big library that is full of books on all subjects.

Our school is one of the best schools in the city. It has won many trophies in the inter-school competitions. Our students always do well in the examinations and also feature in the merit lists. They get selected to the best colleges in the country after passing out.

All the teachers of my school are very well trained. They take pains to teach us well. We are also taught many extra curricular activities in the school such as music, painting, swimming, sports etc.

We all love our school very much and take care to behave well wherever we go. I am very proud to be the student to be the students of such a famous school. I hope my school will always earn a good name for itself.
