Teachers Day Speeches by Famous Personalities

Teachers Day Speeches by Famous Personalities

One child, one teacher, one pen and one book can change the world,’ a quote by the daughter of a teacher, Malala Yousafzai. Rightly so, teachers are the first guiding step in this big bad world. Without a mentor over our heads, a guide to distinguish right from wrong, we will all be bodies without spirit.

While growing up, the only person we tend to respect after our parents, are our teachers. Because the greatest lessons are learnt in the classroom. Even though many times we feel that they are a waste, but somewhere after a decade, everything starts coming into practicality, and hence our bookish lessons come to life.

Teachers may not always be confined to the four walls of a school. They may come in the form of your parents, sibling, soulmate, friends or simply a companion like your dog. The small moments with these special people in our lives often leave us spellbound with the lessons we may never learn otherwise.

This teachers day, do not just thank your ‘on paper’ teachers. Thank anyone and everyone who have contributed in making you, you. Not every teacher needs to be called ma’am or sir and not every teacher needs a stick to teach you a lesson. Experiences with certain people often turn out to be our greatest teachers and should be cherished.

Words are our strongest weapon and hence should be used wisely. Making your teacher feel special maybe a struggle for you and hence on this teachers day, we bring to you some speeches by famous personalities that you can draw inspiration from to tell your teachers what you feel about them.
